Who’s ready to enjoy a morning cup of Mocha?! This almost 5-year-old Schnoodle wants to make your day delicious.

Mocha was surrendered to the rescue when her family moved away and left her with a relative. The relative was unfortunately not the ideal home for Mocha and she was given up to the rescue.

Here’s more about Mocha’s ideal home! She would do best in a home with few visitors as, typical of the Schnauzer breed, she does tend to guard the house. With some reassuring words (and a cookie or two!) she does warm up to visitors though.

Mocha can live with children 13+ who understand to give her some space. She is an independent dog and does not like her back legs or paws being touched. She also prefers not to be picked up but children.

Mocha is a moderate energy dog. She loves walks and going around the yard for a sniff session and then enjoys a nap on the couch or in her doggy bed. She is potty-trained and crate trained!

This adorable girl is very intelligent and knows all her basic commands. She also knows to wait when being let outside and has overcome her food guarding tendencies. Mocha needs a home that will continue reinforcing these behaviors. She is not a dog for a first-time dog owner.

As for other pets in the home, Mocha is tolerant of similarly sized dogs who share her independent personality. She is not looking for a playmate.
