Home Recommendation: Due to her hard life before coming to us, Lily has a hard time trusting strangers. However once you gain her trust, she will never leave your side! She does best in a quiet home with structure and attention!

Crate Trained: Lily prefers not to be crated when left alone. She is non destructive and typically sleeps on the couch for the duration of when you are gone.

Leash Manners: Lily pulls at the beginning of the walk but eventually settles down and walks nicely.
Training: She will need a patient, dog experienced owner who knows when Lily gets nervous around others. She is hesitant with strangers but with time, playing, and treats, she begins to trust them and will let them pet her. She does not get upset when people come to the home and minds her business. Â She is very trainable and just needs to make sure she has proper, slow introductions with new people. Lily is very intelligent and has mastered the following commands: sit, down, stop/no, wait, heal and paw!

Why did they come to Wise? Lily was rescued from a local, municipal shelter where she came in in very, very bad shape. Lily was part of a neglect case and they soon realized she was pregnant and reached out to us. Her puppies were adopted and Lily has patiently been waiting for her perfect forever home!
