Johnny

Meet Johnny! He is a 10-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who is a loving and gentle soul. Don’t let his age fool you! He is a puppy at heart with lots of spirit!

This sweetheart wants nothing more than to be in your company and soak up all the love you have to offer! He spends majority of his day cuddling with you or finding cozy places to sleep. He may be a couch potato, but he does enjoy going on short walks to check out the neighborhood!

His calm temperament makes him amazing with little kids! He also does well with other dogs. Typically Johnny will play at first greeting but eventually settles. He wouldn’t mind having a canine companion to take naps with! He would do best in a home without cats.

Johnny is very treated motivated and he has mastered sit, wait, and understands when told “no”. He is house trained and will let you know he has to go out by whining at the door. He takes naps in his crate and does not mind being left alone in it!

He can be shy when first introduced to new people. Once he comes out of his shell with time and patience, he will show you his goofy, sweet personality and become your best friend!

Johnny came into the rescue with a badly broken leg. He has fully recovered and has been doing fantastic in his foster home since. Johnny can’t wait to find a forever home that will make him the happiest pup during his golden years!
