WISE is always looking for volunteers to help our rescue operate and grow. There are many ways to make a difference!
Adoption Events
We frequently host adoption events throughout New Jersey and need assistance with:
- Dog transport and handling
- Soliciting donations
- Setup and breakdown
- Community education
Administrative
Rescue involves a lot of organization and we need help staying on track:
- Writing thank you notes to donors
- Management of veterinary appointments
- Collecting and inputting data on our dogs
- Grant writing
Fundraising
WISE is an entirely donation-funded rescue run by dedicated volunteers. Collecting monetary and goods donations keep our rescue going:
- Event planning
- Soliciting sponsors from local and national businesses
- Collecting prizes for tricky trays and raffles
- Selling event tickets
- Creating marketing materials
- Distributing flyers
Social Media
Our social media team is always looking for experienced volunteers to join:
- Write Facebook and Instagram posts
- Publish ads
- Manage SEO
- Create video content
Transportation
WISE dogs are always looking for rides to:
- Events
- Veterinary appointments
- Foster homes
