We think you need a Dino update to perk up your Monday!
We get a lot of questions about our little fox strutting around in his socks…and the answer is heartbreakingly simple. Having lived his entire life in a crate, Dino never learned how to walk. Since he met his foster mama, however, we are very happy to report that he has made huge strides in that department! (See what we did there?)
Dino’s socks secure the carefully-wrapped bandages on his feet, which encourage him to plant instead of dragging his knuckles on the ground. Once his knuckles are healed he’ll be trading in the socks for some swim trunks; hydrotherapy is the next step to building up his strength (his baby pool is set up and ready to go!)
In addition to his brand new wardrobe and outdoor lounge area, Dino is also enjoying physical therapy, chiropractic care and acupuncture, and will be paying a visit to the neurologist this week. We’re giving this little guy everything we can to ensure that he’s ready to run to his forever family when they meet him.
We hope you’re enjoying Dino’s Journey- if you’d like to contribute to his wish list and/or his care, please click the links below. We can use all the help we can get for our little fighter!
