Tommy’s ideal home: pet-free home that understands and respects that he is hesitant at first when greeting strangers. He likes to be very spoiled and get all of his peoples’ attention
Kids: 16 years or older (he likes a quiet home!)
Dogs: Preferably no, but may consider another small, older dog who is happy to just coexist with Tommy
Cats: Preferably no, but may consider a cat who does not want to interact much with Tommy
Crate Trained: Tommy spends time in and out of the crate and does well either way!
House Trained: Yes
Leash Manners: Loves to go for walks and walks well on leash. Tommy passes by other dogs without issue but does not want to interact with them
Personality: Tommy will cuddle with you all day long and follow you around the house like your little shadow. He loves to be pet while taking a nap next to you. Although Tommy is mostly low energy, he shows his spunky side when he wants to play a game of chase!
Health: Tommy does have issues with his heart and will need to be on medication for the rest of his life. It is well-managed with his medication
Why did he come to WISE?: Tommy was surrendered to a municipal shelter after his family no longer had time for him and was then rescued by WISE
